Call for Artists & Artisans: RiverArts’ Fine Arts & Crafts Exhibit, March 2023

Chestertown RiverArts invites artisans and artists to submit work to our Fine Art and Craft Exhibit. 

We seek to showcase the fine craftmanship and incredible talent of our regional artists. 2D & 3D work is encouraged so we can fill our newly renovated gallery space with pieces in a wide variety of colors, textures and mediums. Work submitted may include but are not limited to painting, drawing, photography, collage, ceramics, sculpture, woodcraft, metalcraft, glasswork, fine jewelry, textiles, fiber art and mixed media. Artists are invited to submit up to 2 pieces that exemplifies the mastery of their craft.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

·        EXHIBIT DATES: March 3 - April 2

·        EXHIBIT OPENING RECEPTION: 1^st Friday, March 3, 5:00 – 7:00 pm

·        ARTISTS’ TALK: Thursday, March 9, 5:00 – 6:30 pm

·        DROP OFF: Sunday, February 26, 1:00 – 3:00 pm

                            Monday, February 27, 10:00 – 12:00 pm

·        PICK UP: Sunday, April 2, 1:00-3:00 pm

                Monday, April 3, 10:00 – 12:00 pm.

Registration information: Online registration is now closed but you may still register in person during the scheduled drop off times.

• Artists may submit up to 2 pieces. Online registration closes Saturday, February 25. Online registration is preferred but not required. Walk-in registrations are also welcome.
• Members, $10 per entry, Non-members, $20 per entry.
