Monochrome Moods: Drawings and Photography in Black and White-June 2022

Monochrome images easily evoke a wide range of moods through the intentional limiting of color variations. For this show, RiverArts invites artists to express their own vision of monochrome by submitting black and white drawings and photographs.

Drawings may be made with any medium producing direct marks on paper, such as pencil or charcoal, but may also be made using liquid such as ink, applied to paper with a pen or brush. Both drawing and photographic submissions may depict abstract or representational images, but must be limited to tones of black and white. 

EXHIBITION DATES: June 3 to June 25, 2022

OPENING RECEPTION: First Friday: June 3, 2022, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

ARTISTS’ TALK: Thursday, June 9, 2022, 5:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.

DROP-OFF: Sunday, May 29, 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Monday, May 30, 2022, 10:00-12:00 pm (note new times)

PICK-UP: Sunday, June 26, 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Monday June 27, 2022, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (note new times)

• Registration Information: Artists are invited to submit 1 or 2 pieces.

Registration submission fee: RiverArts Members: $10 per entry. Non-Members: $20 per entry. Online registration is now closed but you may still register in person during the designated drop off times listed above.

You can now upload images of your works directly in the registration form below. (Image submission is helpful but not required to enter online): 

• Files should be saved in jpeg format.
• Each file name should include your Name, and the Title of the work (for example: Auguste-Rodin-The Thinker.jpg).
• Click the "choose files" buttons included in the form to upload one image for each piece you are submitting. 
• Be sure to match the correct image with the correct entry.

Registration submission fee: RiverArts Members: $10 per entry. Non-Members: $20 per entry. 

To enter payment information: Calculate your payment amount (members: $10 per entry, non-members: $20 per entry).

Enter ONLY the dollar amount in the "Payment Amount" field, with no dollar sign (example: 10 for one entry or 20 for two entries.).

Enter your credit or debit card number, expiration date, and CVC code (the three numbers on the back of the card).

Check that all the required information has been entered completely and correctly, and then click the "Submit" button. 

Check your email to be sure you have received a confirmation email. If you do not see the confirmation email, check your spam folder. If you don't find it in your inbox or spam folder, please contact us for assistance before trying again..
