With memberships at five different levels, and benefits that make it easy to get involved, becoming a RiverArts member is a great way to be a part of the exciting Kent County arts scene. Become a member by registering in one of three ways:
- Print and fill out the form found here and mail it with your payment to RiverArts: 315 High Street, Suite 106, Chestertown, MD 21620
- Visit the Gallery to fill out a form
- For any membership of $250 or more please pay by check to help defray credit card processing costs. For all other memberships, register below with your card.
Membership levels
- STUDENT $25
- INDIVIDUAL $50
- FAMILY $65 (up to 2 adults and any dependents living in the same household)
- Discounts on select programming & classes.
- 50% off of submission for RiverArts' exhibits.
- 10% discount on art supplies and framing at The Finishing Touch.
- A discount voucher for the Gallery & Gift Shop (new members only).
- Participation opportunities in Members’ Shows, the Studio Tour, the Holiday Show and the Gift Shop
- Free participation in quarterly Members meeting where the staff and Executive Committee can answer your questions.
- Opportunity to nominate a board director, vote on the slate of board candidates, address the board, and vote on bylaw changes.
An organization can join at any membership level listed below and gets one vote per organization.
- FRIEND: $250.00 or more annually
- Includes all the benefits of a Family Membership
- Two discount vouchers for the Gift Shop or Gallery
- Advance notice for select special events, exhibitions, classes, artist talks, and programming
- VISIONARY: $1,000.00 or more annually
- Includes all the benefits of a Friend
- Two events with refreshments and interacting with the Board of Directors
- Name on RiverArts’ Giving Tree
- FOUNDER: $2,500.00 or more annually
- Includes all the benefits of a Visionary
- Recognition on the website and select print media, especially if in support of a RiverArts Program or facility
- Expanded access to select special events, exhibitions, classes, artist talks, and programming
- BENEFACTOR: $5,000.00 or more annually
- Includes all the benefits of a Founder
- Access and use of RiverArts' Spaces for entertaining to be coordinated with the Executive Director
- Recognition on all RiverArts’ communications including the website
