Take a peaceful hour for yourself to create this simple yet elegant turtle design. You'll have fun learning techniques to add unique doodles & some special effects. Enjoy the camaraderie of creating with like-minded souls.
The class will meet at Unity Nursery, just south of Chestertown on Rt. 213. The address is 3621 Church Hill Rd, Church Hill, MD 21623. We will get to draw inspiration from their beautiful blooming campus in this new partnership!

RiverArts is committed to accessible programming and to compensating artists and instructors fairly. We are offering classes on a 'pay what you can' basis. Those with limited funds are welcome to enjoy full access to the class for a small donation. Those who are able are invited to pay more to support access to art experiences for all.
Brenda Foehrkolb is an artist with a wide range of interests. She began exploring art (and crafts) when she and her husband retired to Maryland’s Eastern Shore in 1997. Brenda works mostly in acrylics, but also loves watercolor, mixed media, paper arts, painted furniture and glass, especially if there’s an opportunity to use glitter and sparkle! Brenda has been creative for as long as she can remember. She teaches DecoArt’s Social Artworking program where friends come together with a little wine and a little art for a few hours of fun, and she loves helping beginners blossom. Brenda has a foundation in traditional calligraphy, but loves finding fun and decorative ways to use letters! She is an active member of the Baltimore Painted Screen Society and enjoys introducing students to the techniques and history of this unique American folk art.
