Class^Clay Studio
The class will be held at the Clay Studio (and in the street nearby) from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday April 1st.
This one-day workshop introduces the fundamentals of raku to students of any experience level. Students will learn the process of raku firing by glazing self-supplied bisque ware, learning how to load and unload a raku kiln, and experiencing smoked reduction. Students may participate in the process throughout, if they feel comfortable to do so! Come observe, learn, and participate as Brett will fire his kilns many times in a single day.
The Clay Studio has Raku Clay available for purchase in advance, and will be prioritizing raku bisque fires one week prior to the event.
