Artist
Barbara K. Slocum owned and operated her national and state award winning art director/graphic designer consulting business, with over 35 years, including 16 years in the non-profit arena. She worked for various corporations throughout the years, along with illustrating advertising artwork for her clients. In 2016, she and her husband moved to Chestertown and organized “Cars on High” a monthly car meet and show, and they both are volunteers for Mainstreet Chestertown. She also is a volunteer of Riverarts along with being a member as a plein air, studio oil painter, and loves to sow among her other interests.
