On Saturday, September 12, hundreds of people from Chestertown and the surrounding communities gathered on a beautiful late summer day, to create a street mural representing the town's commitment to work, together, against racism in this historic community. Organizers Wanda Boyer, Arlene Lee, and Maria Wood joined the RiverArts Salon for a discussion of the murals and the importance of this milestone in Chestertown's history.
Click here to watch the dramatic Town Council special meeting when the murals gained approval.
Join Executive Director Maria Wood today between 4 and 4:30pm for a Fireside Chat about all things RiverArts. Bring questions and suggestions, complaints and kudos.
