Diane Hunger was in residence in Chestertown for three summers at the National Music Festival with her Mana Quartet. She plays tenor, alto and soprano saxophone, and is currently a professor at Hochschule für Musik Detmold, in Detmold, Germany. She tours in the United States and Europe with Mana, and she is also a solo and recording artist. Visit her website at www.dianehunger.com.
Making music with artistry and a wide range of tone colors are the focuses in the versatile career of the acclaimed saxophonist. Whether it is in Carnegie Hall, as a soloist with the Hamburger Symphoniker, or playing chamber music with the Mana Quartet - she is equally at home everywhere.
