Un Salon des Arts Rivières, a RiverArts Salon, is a (virtual) place to learn something new, share ideas, explore interesting topics, see and be seen, and have fun.

Diane Hunger was in residence in Chestertown for three summers at the National Music Festival with her Mana Quartet. She plays tenor, alto and soprano saxophone, and is currently a professor at Hochschule für Musik Detmold, in Detmold, Germany. She tours in the United States and Europe with Mana, and she is also a solo and recording artist. Visit her website at

Making music with artistry and a wide range of tone colors are the focuses in the versatile career of the acclaimed saxophonist. Whether it is in Carnegie Hall, as a soloist with the Hamburger Symphoniker, or playing chamber music with the Mana Quartet - she is equally at home everywhere. 

Elegant attire is encouraged! Guests supply their own hors d'œuvre et vin.
