4 sessions start October 7 - Drawing Outdoors with Vanna Ramirez

Drawing is the basis of all visual arts. Learn basic drawing techniques and skills as you observe, translate, and interpret what you see and what you wish to portray. Whether you are a beginner or an artist looking to expand and elevate your drawing, this class will help you meet your goals.

The instructor will introduce new concepts each week, but if you can’t make all weeks, instructor will be able to give individual guidance.

Ages 8 to 80+

Students need to bring:

  • Sketchbook – 9″ x 12″
  • Graphite pencils –  6B, 4B, 2B, HB, 2H, 4H, 6H
  • Sharpener
  • Kneaded eraser and polymer/gum erase

Format: Taught in person, outdoors, in locations around Chestertown

Date/Time: Wednesdays, October 7, 14, 21, & 28, 4-5 pm

Suggested Donation: Each week is a separate class with a suggested donation of $20 for the week’s lesson. Register for one week at a time, please. (See Registration Info in box at upper right)
