Learn to indigo dye during the “blue” hours! We will learn about indigo and explore various Shibori resist methods while creating some great gifts. When you’re ready to dye you will see the wonder of indigo as your creation emerges from the dye bath colored green and turns blue before your eyes. We will be using a synthetic indigo vat to dye 1 pairs of bamboo socks and a cotton bandana (27” x 27”). Additional pairs of socks ($4.50 each), bandanas ($3.00 each) will be available for purchase if you want to make more. Please wear old clothes.
The class is 2 hours long, however, you may finish sooner if you’re not making additional items.
