Mary Ann Herron and Penny Block retired from the KidSPOT Advisory Board this August
This month, longtime KidSPOT Advisory board members Mary Ann Herron and Penny Block's terms were up, so we regretfully bid them farewell. Mary Ann and Penny are both talented, creative, and wise educators, and we thank them both for years of tireless service to KidSPOT!
We welome new KidSPOT board members LaToya Johnson and Pat Parkhurst!
LaToya (left) has over 12 years experience working with children, youth and families in both nonprofit and direct service. She is the founder and owner of Saving Hope Consulting in Kent County, and she began the winter as the KidSPOT After School Program Coordinator and Lead Teacher. We certainly hope she will return to that role when it is safe to bring kids together again.
A Queen Anne's County native, Pat (right) teaches art at The Country School in Easton, and is on the Board of Trustees of Gunston in Centreville.
