Salon
September 22 - undefined -22
A RiverArts Salon is a (virtual) place to learn something new, share ideas, explore interesting topics, see and be seen, and have fun.
Tuesdays from 5 - 5:45, on Zoom
If there's anything that 2020 has made clear, it's that our world is incredibly and increasingly complex. Today's young people are faced with a unique blend of demands on their road toward lifelong success. Our world is one of rapid change in a constantly shifting landscape; many of these demands were simply nonexistent a generation ago. With that in mind, as well as the realities of persistent inequities in our society, the question that remains is: what skills and strategies do we offer the rising generation to assist them in personal and professional achievement? In this salon, Lauren Weber leads a discussion on the power of both creativity and character as great equalizers that offer youth roadmaps for success.
Join Executive Director Maria Wood today between 4 and 4:30pm for a Fireside Chat about all things RiverArts. Bring questions and suggestions, complaints and kudos.
