May 26: Liberate the Landscape with Paul Santori (in person outdoors!)

Paul Santori

Paul E. Santori is a painter and musician living on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Born in Columbia, Missouri he has always lived in the United States, spending his early years in Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to Matawan, New Jersey. From 1978 to 1982 he attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he benefited from a very open curriculum which allowed him to work in sculpture, video and performance art. His main interest, however, was always painting and drawing. On graduating with a BFA from SAIC he worked at freelance gallery and museum installation and various other odd jobs, showing at occasional group shows. His interest in music began around this time and he became heavily involved in the music scene until 1989. Circumstances in life then led to a long hiatus from artistic activity until 2008 when he began painting again in earnest. In 2012 he moved to Falls Church, Virginia where in addition to making art he started playing music again. In 2017, he relocated to the Eastern Shore, Maryland where he is currently active in the local art and music scene.
