A RiverArts Salon is a (virtual) place to learn something new, share ideas, explore interesting topics, see and be seen, and have fun.

Dr. McKnight is the Dean of the College of General Studies and Professor of Humanities at Boston University. A graduate of Washington College, she was delighted to learn about Chestertown's annual Dickens of a Christmas festivals & hopes to return for a visit after the pandemic. Her research interests include Victorian studies, gender studies and general education; and her teaching interests include survey literature and art courses, Victorian studies, creative writing and ethical philosophy. Dr. McKnight is the President of the Dickens Society.
