Explore a “secret garden” and capture its flowers and plants in this special, weekend-long edition of instructor Kate Livie’s Joy of Nature Journaling class. Participants will deepen their connection to the environment, build their observation & reflection skills, and get creative using “line and wash'' techniques and traditional journaling. Designed for beginners/ intermediates, this nature journaling class will help you capture the beauty of the natural world with a fun combination of sketching, painting, and writing.
Classes will be held in-person. Masks are not required but are encouraged for the comfort of the individual participant.
Space is limited, so register early.
Participants will be given a required supplies list (no more than $100), with most materials readily available online.
This class is held outside, so common sense is encouraged regarding clothing, sun protection, hats, water, insect repellent, etc. Participants are also encouraged to bring a folding chair. A light snack is also recommended for our 11:30 AM break.

Those with limited funds are welcome to enjoy full access to the class for as little as $1. Those who are able are invited to pay more, to support access to art experiences for all.
