June 23: Painted Tea Bag with Brenda Foehrkolb (via Zoom)

Wednesday, June 23, 12-1 pm

In this class, you will learn techniques for creating miniature paintings on tea bags. Learn a few tips, create a sailing scene together, and then try some designs of your own. Experienced local artist, crafter, and teacher Brenda Foehrkolb will guide us through this fun activity while we enjoy camaraderie with each other. Make some little paintings for you or as gifts!

Suggested supplies:

  • Tea Bags - any kind will work, except the ‘nylon’ ones
  • Watercolors - Lt Blue, Dk Blue, Green or Blue Green, Orange
  • Acrylic Paints - White and dark (brown, black or grey); Optional - yellow and orange
  • Favorite Round Brushes, Large, Small & Liner
  • Blue Tape - about 6-8 inches
  • Optional - Cardstock & adhesive (like Modpodge) to use as backing

Those with limited funds are welcome to enjoy full access to the class for as little as $1. Those who are able are invited to pay more, to support access to art experiences for all.
