Photography Club

The Photography Club meets every Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to about 8:15 pm via Zoom.

All are welcome. Participants share and discuss the pictures they have been taking the previous week and also show some of their older images.

According to group leader Steve Kane, "Since the beginning of the pandemic, about 12 to 15 of us have really been enjoying our short time together each week so we decided to expand our sessions and do more. We still meet at 7:00 pm and each of us shows and talks about three images we have taken with feedback from the others. But now I open up Zoom at 6:00 pm and for those who are interested, I or someone else will talk about some aspect of photography, give tips and tricks or even demonstrate some Lightroom or Photoshop techniques. Then we have our normal meeting at 7:00 pm. After the meeting most of us hang around and chat about whatever comes up for about 20 minutes. This one evening a week is something we all look forward to, since it is now one of our few opportunities to socialize with like minded people and make new friends."

Steve and the Photography group welcome new people to attend their weekly Virtual Photo Club meetings. If you are interested, email him at srkane@gmail.com and he will give you all the details about sending in your images and how to sign up for the Zoom meetings. You can also attend without sending in pictures.
