RiverArts Salon: John Queen

Watch this video on Youtube.

RiverArts Salons are opportunities for intimate conversation, community connection, learning and fun.

This week's special guest is John Queen, co-Founder and President of the Bayside Hoyas, and Chairman of the new organization Black Union of Kent County. John is a business owner in Kent County, a leader in the community, and a tireless advocate for the young people he works with. He joined us for a good discussion about racial justice and action in our local community.

RiverArts is proud to partner with the Black Union of Kent County, the town of Chestertown, the Bayside HOYAS, the James Taylor Lynching Remembrance Coaltion, and Chesapeake Heartland: An African American Humanities Project on the We Stand Day of Agreement event Friday, June 19, 2020.

Visit the Bayside HOYAS at http://www.baysidehoyas.org. You can join the Black Union of Kent County on Facebook.
