Artist
After successfully launching Shore Studios in 2017, Sam began conceptualizing how he could bring drones to his current full-time job as Economic Development Coordinator with Talbot County Government. With the assistance from Aviation Systems Engineering Company, Shoge designed and built Talbot County's first drone program.
In addition to passionately pursuing the expansion of the commercial drone industry, Shoge continues to expand his expertise in digital and content marketing. Shoge was elected to the Chestertown Town Council in 2013 and served a 4-year term. During his time on the town council, Shoge led the development of a new website and created a marketing committee to oversee marketing initiatives. As Economic Development Coordinator, Shoge completely overhauled the communications strategy for the Department of Economic Development and Tourism. He oversaw the roll out of a new website, launched social media channels, led the design of a newsletter, and is the content writer for Talbot Works, the department's blog. Furthermore, Shoge coordinates all video projects conducted by the department.
When not flying drones or writing blog posts, Shoge enjoys immersing himself in epic fantasy series like The Wheel of TIme by Robert Jordan. He is a passionate college football fan and enjoys cheering for the Navy Midshipman.
