Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to respond to changing conditions.

One Day Clay Workshop: Leaf Platters

No experience necessary! Open to all ages (children under 14 will need adult assistance) You will be hand building an oval or rectangular serving plate approximately 14" x 8".  A slab of clay will be provided as well as a form and many items to imprint texture.  Please feel free to bring anything of special interest that could be used to personalize your plate.  What's your style? What makes you happy? The forest? the beach? the holidays? Serve on your one of a kind creation - made with Love. An imprint of leaves are great for that cool fall feeling! How about pine cones, a small pine branch, small sticks?  Seashells, coral, rope, always in style! Are you funky and modern? An assortment of metal washers will imprint circles. Anything that can be pressed in & removed easily. Or, a smooth as silk surface may be perfect for you!  You are limited only by your imagination!  You may also trace around items, paint with our underglazes or personalize with your own writing. In approximately 3 weeks, your plate will be ready for pick up at the High Street studio.  It will be complete and ready for you to serve your favorite appetizers, cookies, sushi or other wonderful treats.

The class will be held at the Clay Studio from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday September 26th.

Please email the Studio manager Chris at chrisneiman@chestertownriverarts.org with any questions.

Thanks so much for your support of RiverArts!
